Melissa was born on February 10, 1977, in Osceola, Nebraska, to Louis Paczosa and Pamela Scdoris.

Melissa grew up in Pleasant Dale, Nebraska, where she created lifelong friendships and built a foundation of love and care that touched the lives of everyone she met.

Melissa went to Milford High, where she was a very active member of the Swing choir, National Honors Society, and the SPLA Spanish Club. She worked as a production supervisor at Meadow Gold for twenty years, but she wore more than just that hat. It was through this job that Melissa was given the opportunity to live in Colorado, where she loved making new memories and was able to spread her love that much further and touch that many more hearts.

Melissa was a loving and charismatic mother to three children: Tijanna Paczosa, Tamia Paczosa and Britton Paczosa. They will forever be blessed with the good fortune of having an extraordinary mother. She found immense joy in watching them grow, holding their hands through the worst of times and raising them up in the best. Her children were the light of her life and the source of her greatest pride.

Melissa was a cherished daughter, beloved mother, sister, and an irreplaceable member of her family. Few things, brought her more joy than spending time with her nieces, nephews, and the beautiful children that they brought into this world.

She enjoyed watching the Huskers whenever they played and could wake the block with her team spirit. She had a passion for singing whenever the mood struck and her voice could chase away any cloud. Her passion for life and love of family will leave a legacy that will never be forgotten.
