Medarda Hoadley

Medarda "Dart" Hoadley, age 87, of Platte Center, Nebraska died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home in Newman Grove.

Medarda A. Hoadley was born September 13, 1923 in Lindsay, Nebraska to Joseph and Theresa (Ball) Dreifurst. She grew up in the Lindsay area. On July 15, 1944 she was united in marriage to George P. Hoadley in Los Angeles. The couple lived in California before returning to the area in 1966. Along with raising her family, Dart worked at various jobs including D&L for 12 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality.
