Mary Zeller

Mary Zeller, age 90, died Tuesday, December 19, 2023 in Lincoln.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 23, 2023 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Bellwood. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Friday. There will be a 7:00 p.m. vigil service all at the McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Interment will be in the Presentation Cemetery.

Mary Zeller was born on May 28, 1933 in Bellwood, Nebraska to Clarence and Margaret (Meysenburg) Peters. She grew up in Bellwood and graduated from Bellwood High School.  On June 13, 1950 she married Gordon Zeller at St. Peters Catholic Church in Bellwood, Nebraska. She was a homemaker and also worked as a realtor. Mary was an active volunteer in many areas including The American Legion Auxiliary, Altar Society, Aquinas High School, Alexis Township, and The Democratic Party of Butler County. She served in many positions and offices with these groups. Mary loved sports of all kinds, especially her children's and grandchildren's activities.
