Mary Tinius

Mary Tinius, age 97, died Friday, April 19, 2024 in Columbus, NE.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 Friday, April 26, 2024 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Thursday at McKown Funeral Home. There will a 7:00 p.m. vigil service Thursday at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Friday morning 9:30 a.m. until service time at all at the church. Interment is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Mary Johanna Book was born May 23, 1926 to Andrew and Johanna (Huftless) Book at Bonesteel, South Dakota. She graduated from Osmond High School in 1944. Mary married Harry Tinius in May  of 1950 at Sacred Heart Church in Norfolk. Mary's joy was collecting dolls, growing flowers and her missions.
