Mary passed away in Lincoln at Nebraska Heart Hospital on May 27th, 2026.

Services are 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at the McKown Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until service time  Wednesday. 

Mary was born in Lincoln, NE April 4th, 1958. She attended Lincoln High School. Later she moved to Columbus, NE where she raised her son and worked at Appleton for 15 years.

She married Daniel Scholl on June 11th, 2005 and made their home in Columbus, later moving to Leigh, NE.

Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, crafts and art, flowers and had much love for her dogs.

Mary is preceded in death by her mother Josephine, father Ernest, and sister-in-law Roxanne. Mother-in-law Barbara and Brother-in-law Craig,

She is survived by her husband Daniel Scholl, son Jason Woodworth (Shannon), Step-Son Kurt, sister Pam (Tom) Bork, and brother Joseph Messer. Father-in law Delano, Sister-in-laws Connie, Joyce, and Jamie (Lonnie).
