Mary Lou died Thursday, October 3, 2013 at her home in Columbus.
Mary Lou Schmidt was born April 20, 1950 in Columbus, Nebraska to Alfred and Hulda (Marty) Olson. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1969. She received her LPN degree from Norfolk Jr. College in 1970. Mary Lou worked for the Columbus Hospital and for Dr. Heine, Dr. Heiser and various other doctors with the Columbus Medical Center and other offices. She married Gerald Schmidt on December 16, 1972 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Platte Center. Mary Lou enjoyed doing embroidery and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus.
She is survived by:
