Mary Ann Reeves

Mary Ann Reeves, age 66, of Columbus died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Morys Haven in Columbus.

Mary Ann was born January 23, 1946 in Columbus, Nebraska to Robert and Hilda (Schultz) Reeves. She grew up in Columbus. She left school at the age of 16 to help with her family. She later earned her GED at the age of 36. Mary Ann worked as a bus driver in Leigh for 9 years. She then worked for the Columbus Community Hospital as a cook for 17 years. She also worked for a short time Lost Creek Elementary School. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and spoiling her grandsons.

She is survived by:
2 daughters: Jami (Steve) Dohmen and Jessi (Jason) Schmidt both of Columbus. 5 grandsons: Austin & Coby Smith, Justin Dohmen, Joshua & Jordin Schmidt, 6 great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Virginia Bures of Ord and Patricia Runquist of Albion, brother: Robert Reeves of Chandler, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson: Dominick Dohmen
