Aggie Bruckner died Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Morys Haven in Columbus.

Mary Agnes "Aggie" Bruckner was born July 25, 1927 in Lawrence, Nebraska to William and Margaret (Hoelting) Brockman. She attended Lawrence High School and graduated from St. John's High School in Omaha. Aggie married Duane L. Bruckner on August 18, 1947 at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Lawrence, Nebraska. The couple lived in Omaha before moving to Platte Center where they owned & operated Bruckner's Mercantile Store for 42 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, St. Joseph's Quilting Club, St. Ann's Sodality and a 50 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Aggie loved sewing, quilting, gardening, canning and playing shephead.
