Mary Ann died Monday, July 11, 2011 at the Papillion Manor in Papillion, Nebraska.
Mary Ann Micek, the daughter of Adolph and Gertrude (Liekhus) Ritzdorf, was born November 3, 1924 at Cedar Rapids, Nebraska. She was raised in Cedar Rapids and graduated from Cedar Rapids High School in 1942. Mary Ann was united in marriage to Leonard Micek on June 27, 1944 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. She was a homemaker and worked for Micek Auto Repair until 1972. In 1972 she began working for Region IV Services, where she worked for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, Legion of Mary, Christian Mothers, Perpetual Adoration and Secular Franciscans. Mary Ann enjoyed traveling and was devoted to her family and the Catholic Faith.
