Mary Jarecki, age 93, of Columbus, died Monday at Mory's Haven.
Mary Jarecki was born June 28, 1917 in Platte County, Nebraska to Paul and Agatha (Moritz) Cygan. She received her education in St. Michael's in Tarnov. She worked in Omaha before moving to Chicago in 1950. At the death of her step mother she returning to Nebraska to care for her father. In 1964 she moved to Columbus where she worked at B-D. Mary married Ben Jarecki on October 12, 1968 in Columbus. She was a member of St. Anthonys Church, St. Theresa Sodality, and helped deliver meals on wheels. She enjoyed reading, sewing and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Stanley.
