October 23, 1913 — February 6, 2008

Mary E. Hahn, age 94, of Columbus, Nebraska died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus. Memorial Services are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at McKown Funeral Home with Reverend Douglas Zurek officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A lunch will be served at the Eagles Club following the services. Burial will be in the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery at a later date.

Mary E. Hahn was born October 23, 1913 in Newport, Nebraska to Harry L. and Nettie E. (Wile) Beck. She graduated from West Point High School in 1932. She married Lindsey Fox on July 4, 1936 in Newport. The couple moved to Columbus in the late 1940's. Lindsey died in 1961. In 1987 She married Elmer Hahn in Columbus. Mary worked for Pat's Store for Homes in Columbus for 20 years. She enjoyed bowling and crafts. Mary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Fireman's Auxiliary for over 40 years. She was a charter member of the Eagles Auxiliary where she served as president from 1968 - 1969 and was a Golden Age Eagle at the time of her death.

She is survived by:
Daughter: Cheryle (Boyd) Jones of Yankton, SD
Four Grandchildren
Seven Great Grandchildren
