Mary Euteneuer

Mary Euteneuer of Columbus died Sunday, October 8, 2023 at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Wednesday at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus.  Visitation is on Tuesday from 4-6 pm with a 6:00 pm Vigil service to follow, all at St. Isidore Church.  Visitation continues on Wednesday from 9:30 am until service time at the Church.  Interment is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Mary Euteneuer was born May 4,1938 in Ida Grove, Iowa to Thomas and Margaret (Graf) Houlihan.  Mary attended Clark University in Dubuque, IA before going to the University of Iowa where she received her degree in Physical Therapy.  Mary's first job was in Omaha at St. Joseph's Hospital.  On September 5, 1970, Mary married Kenneth Euteneuer at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ida Grove.  They moved to Columbus where she worked as a Physical Therapist for Ken Johnson and later at the hospital.  Mary was a member of St. Isidore Church.
