Mary M. Dohmen of Columbus died Monday, November 24, 2008 at her home in Columbus.

Mary M. Dohmen was born April 20, 1929 in on the family farm north of Schuyler, Nebraska to Milo and Mary "Marie" (Vsetecka) Herink. She graduated from Humphrey High in 1946. She married Bernard Dohmen on June 8, 1950 in Leigh, Nebraska. They lived in Leigh for 18 years. In 1968 they moved into Columbus. Mary worked at D& L for 4 years. She was a licensed day care provider for many years.
Mary was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, Legion of Mary, and American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Mary loved baking, gardening and feeding the birds & squirrels.
