Mary A. Casey

Mary died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at her home in Columbus.

Mary A. Casey was born August 12, 1928 in West Point, Nebraska to James and Marie (Schulte) Murphy. She grew up on a farm in Cuming County and graduated from Wisner High School in 1948. On April 17, 1948 she married James P. Casey, Jr. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wisner. Mary worked at Becton-Dickinson for 6 years and then was book keeper for Caseys Body Shop.
Mary was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Ladies Guild, Legion of Mary and the Medjugorje Rosary Group. She enjoyed baking for her family, friends, neighbors and enjoyed visiting the elderly and sick. Her final quote before leaving this world was "Life Starts Here".
