Mary Jo Boro

Mary Jo Boro, age 85, died Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Good Samaritan Society in Osceola.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 a.m.  Saturday, October 25, 2025, at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Visitation is Friday from 4-6 p.m. with a 6 p.m. vigil service, all at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Visitation will continue Saturday from 9-10 a.m. at the church. Interment will be held in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Duncan at a later date.

Mary Jo Boro was born January 09, 1940, to Joseph and Mary (Borys) Dush. She grew up on the farm in rural Duncan. She worked first at Y-Knot Restaurant then for Dales manufacturing and retired from BDs. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church. Mary Jo enjoyed taking road trips to thrift stores, traveling with her friends, garage sales and gardening.
