Martha Bruner

Martha A. Bruner, age 83, of Columbus, Nebraska died Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at the Beverly Health Care in Columbus. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2005 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend David Fulton officiating. Visitation is 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation continues Friday morning from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home.

Martha A. Bruner was born June 23, 1921 in Bruno, Nebraska to Joseph L. and Anna M. (Stara) Proskovec. She married Henry J. Bruner on May 3, 1939 in Bruno, Nebraska. The couple lived on a farm by David City, Nebraska before moving to Columbus in 1960. Martha worked for Dale Electronics until retirement. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and enjoyed quilting and blue rock shooting.
