Marlene A. Styskal, 77, of Columbus died Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Columbus Community Hospital.
Marlene was born May 31, 1939 in Ulysses, NE to Joseph and Ann (Cihal) Hofpar. She received her education in Ulysses and David City where she graduated in 1956. On November 8, 1958, Marlene was united in marriage to Marvin Styskal in Ulysses and then moved to Columbus. Marlene worked several jobs in addition to raising her family. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, Legion of Mary, Birthright, and Columbus Area Arts Council. Marlene loved painting, was an avid Bridge player, and was a wonderful cook.
