Marlen Salazar

Marlen Salazar Gonzales, age 28, of Columbus Nebraska passed away Sunday December 29th in Columbus.

Private family services will take place.

Marlen was born on December 14th, 1996, to Lilia Gonzales and Juan Salazar in Tulare California. She grew up in Columbus and graduated from CHS in 2015. Marlen had recently started a job at FlexCon where she really enjoyed the work she did, even caring a lot about if she had a good day with numbers or not! She recently showed interest in playing the guitar learning all the notes and keys and learned how to play "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". She loved to show/ tell others her knowledge and what she has learned. She was truly a "Jack of all Trades" around the house by fixing things, cleaning, getting creative, etc. If she didn't know something, she was going to graduate from the school of YouTube and learn it. She was such a kindhearted caring person and was an amazing mother and partner. She cared and loved her family and close friends more than anything in the world. Whenever someone needed anything, she would be right there to help.

Her parents: Juan salazar and Lilia Gonzales of Wichita Kansas
Her siblings: Irvins Salazar (Javona Jefferson) of Bellwood Nebraska, Arnold Salazar (Ashley Zamora) of Wichita Kansas
Her nieces and nephews: Beckham, Sutton, Coastlyn, and Cohen Salazar of Bellwood.
