Mark Nole

Mark Nole, age 67, died on May 13, 2025 in Genoa.

Graveside services will be August 8 at 1:30pm at Gruetli Cemetery, Monroe, NE. The family will be gathering at Rocks bar after the services for a celebration of life. Everyone is welcome.

Mark J Nole was born September 10, 1957, in Charleroi, PA to Nova and John T Nole II. Mark's father was in the Air Force, so Mark spent much of his childhood traveling the world with his family. Eventually the Nole's ended up in Genoa, NE where they finally settled down. Mark joined the Air Force himself and moved to San Antonio, TX while serving. After returning to Genoa, he met and married Sandy Dubas in 1980. The couple welcomed 2 children, Marcus and Valarie over the course of their marriage. Mark worked as an auto mechanic for several years and also as an engineer at Lindsay Manufacturing. He was the ultimate fixer guy and handyman. If something was broke, Mark either knew how to fix it or he would teach himself how. He was very skilled and knowledgeable with automobiles, computers, home repairs and electrical systems. To him it was easy, and he would often take on more jobs than he could handle at one time. Mark also had many other hobbies over the years which included golfing, foosball, watching the history channel, restoring cars and riding his motorcycle. He had a sense of humor and was quick on his feet with witty comments. He loved to poke fun at his children, siblings and grandchildren but was always there to help when they needed it.

Mark was an organ and tissue donor and gave the gift of donation to continue helping others.
