Mark L Meyers

Mark Meyers, age 62, passed away Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at Prairie Meadows Alzheimer's Special Care Center in Omaha.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 29th, 2022 at Wunderlich's Catering in Columbus from 4:00 pm to 7:00pm. Mark's favorite foods will be served starting at 5:00pm.

Mark was born in Columbus on October 12th, 1959 to Don and Rita (Faulkner) Meyers.  He graduated from Columbus High School in 1977.

Mark was married to Denise Kappenman on October 30th, 1981.  They had three daughters Jennifer, Stephanie and Ashley.

Mark was a tool and die machinist working for several Columbus businesses such as D&L, Camaco, Platte Valley Tooling, ATI, Orion, and Becton Dickinson.

Mark enjoyed 4-wheel riding on the river, hunting, traveling and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Mark had a huge heart with a smile that welcomed everyone he ever met.

Daughter Jennifer (Ryan) Schweitzer of Chesterfield, VA

Daughter Stephanie (Kyle) Ligenza of Schuyler, NE

Daughter Ashley (Jay) Kropp of Axtell, NE

Grandchildren Brysen and Addisyn Schweitzer, and Kyson and Sereia Ligenza and Baby Kropp on the way.

Sister Pam (Brent) Swanson of Genoa, NE

Brother Randy (Angie) Meyers of Fairmont, NE

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in hopes that a cure may be found.
