Mark J. Kobus

Mark died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Mark John Kobus was born May 6, 1938 in Columbus to Pete and Frances (Czapla) Kobus. He grew up in Columbus and graduated from St. Bonaventure High School. He served in the US Navy before returning to Columbus where he worked at Behlen Manufacturing for 31 years. Mark enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, Husker football, but mostly spending time with his children and grandchildren telling them amazing stories. He also enjoyed sharing his food adventures with anyone who would listen. Mark was a member of St. Anthony Church and the Eagle's Club

-Grandchildren Amber (Tyler) Robinson, Korby Kobus, Hunter Kobus, and Fischer Kobus

Daughter Tracy (Keith) Duncan of Columbus
-Grandchildren Zachary, Noah, and Gracie Duncan
Daughter Melinda Kobus (Special Friend Melissa Merrill) of Colorado Springs, CO
Sister Therese (Don) Eversoll of Ft. Collins, CO
Sister Mary (Tom) Gablenz of Cheyenne, WY
