Marjory Ann Michael

Marjory Ann Michael, age 80, of Columbus, Nebraska died Friday, April 22, 2005 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at the Federated Church in Columbus with Reverend Elizabeth Parker officiating. Burial is in the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday at McKown Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church.

Marjory Ann Michael was born January 6, 1925 in Platte County, Nebraska to Clarence and Claribel (Newman) Gates. She graduated from Kramer High School in 1943. On May 18, 1947 she was united in marriage to Dale Michael in Columbus. Marjory worked at St. Mary's & Columbus Hospital as a nurse in the O. B. Department for 42 years. She was a member of the Federated Church and the Women's Fellowship Circle. Marjory enjoyed her extended family and loved her job at the hospital caring for babies and their mothers.
