Marjorie Shotkoski

Marjorie Mary Shotkoski, 94, passed away peacefully at Brookstone Acres on October 23,2024.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Monday, October 28 at St. Isidore Catholic Church.  Visitation is on Sunday from 3-5 pm with a 5:00 pm Vigil service to follow, all at St. Isidore Church. Visitation continues on Monday from 9:30 am until service time at the church.  Interment is in All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Isidore Catholic Church.

Marjorie was born November 11, 1929 to James and Mary (Blue) Webster in Tekamah, Nebraska. Marge grew up surrounded by a sister and four brothers.

After high school Marge married Don Walbridge and to this union, a daughter Lee Ann was born. Don passed away when their daughter was a small child.

Marge later met Edward Shotkoski and they were married February 11,1953. Three more children were added to the family, Connie, Bobbi, and Jerry.

Marge prided herself in being a homemaker. She was an excellent seamstress, making clothes for her family and also doing alterations for others. She was very involved in her children's activities and school functions. When the children got older, Marge became an Avon Representative and enjoyed serving her customers for several years.

Marge moved to Prairie Village in 2020 and made many friends and enjoyed her time there.

She is survived by her children Connie Shotkoski and Bobbi (Joe) Fehringer of Columbus and Jerry (Jo Ann) Shotkoski of Hershey, Nebraska, five grandchildren, Jay (Tosha) Shotkoski, Ryan (Jenetta) Walbridge, Toby Kirstine, Mashawn Kirstine (Demian Estrada) and Julie (Michael) Martin and several great-grandchildren. Sister-in-laws Carolyn Webster and Donna Webster and many nieces and nephews.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ed, her first husband, daughter Lee Ann Kirstine, sister Opal, and brothers Buck, Steve, Jim and Tom.
