Marjorie Reed

Marjorie died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Edgewood Vista in Columbus.

Marjorie "Granny" Reed was born February 4, 1941 in Oblong, Illinois to Ira Leroy and Abby Ellen (Perry) Thompson. She graduated from Oblong High School in 1959. In January of 1959 Marjorie was united in marriage to George Reed in Newton, Illinois. The couple traveled many places while George was serving in the U.S. Airforce before moving to Columbus in 1972. Marjorie worked at J.C. Penney for 30 years until retiring in 2001.
