Marjorie M. Ogden of Columbus died Friday, November 29, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Isidore Catholic Church. There will be a Vigil service at 5:00 pm Monday at St. Isidore's with a visitation following from 5:30-7:30 pm, also at the church. Visitation continues Tuesday morning from 9:30 am until service time at the church. Interment is in All Saints Cemetery.
Marjorie M. Ogden was born November 13, 1942 in Cedar Rapids, NE to Walter and Frances (Theewen) Mahoney. She grew up in Cedar Rapids and graduated from Cedar Rapids High School in 1960. Marge married Albert Ogden on August 13, 1960 at St. Anthony Church in Cedar Rapids. She worked part-time and was a homemaker. They moved to Albion where they lived before moving to Columbus in 1965. Marge worked at Woolworth for 3 years before going to work at Becton-Dickinson where she retired after 30 years.
Spending time with family and friends was very important to her. Marge loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and knows how much they love her and enjoyed spending time together.
Marge was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.
