Marie Raymond

Marie S. Raymond, age 106, of Columbus died Monday, February 12, 2007 at the Golden Age Living Center in Columbus. Funeral services are 11:00 am Saturday, February 17 at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Visitation is Saturday morning from 10 am until service time at the funeral home. Interment is in Columbus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Luke's Congregational Church or to the Platte County Historical Society.

Marie Raymond was born Seprember 27, 1900 in rural Platte County, Nebraska to Rudolph and Susan (Karlin) Mueller. She received her education at Platte County District #10 and attended business college in Grand Island. She married Ted Raymond on November 20, 1947. Marie worked in Omaha, Denver, and in Columbus at Ewert Brothers Implement for 35 years and Behlen Manufacturing for 18 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Harmony Chapter #13.

She is survived by:

Step-Son Fred Raymond of Lee's Summit, MO
