Marie Bohuslavsky of Monroe died Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Marie Bohuslavsky was born August 18, 1921 in Schuyler, Nebraska to Joseph and Julia (Kroupa) Mares. She grew up in Schuyler and graduated from Schuyler High School. She taught school for one year in the area before moving to Denver where she worked at Buckley Airfield and Eversharp Pen Company. She married Richard "Dick" Bohuslavsky on February 22, 1949 in Schuyler. In 1953 they moved to Monroe where they lived and farmed. She enjoyed painting and rock hounding in her later years. Marie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Platte Center.

Daughter: Julie (Brett) Clark of Lincoln
Daughter-in-law: Kathy Seiler of Omaha
9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
Sister: Wylma Mares of Schuyler
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Richard, son: Loren, 11 brothers and sisters: Rose, Julia, Helen, Agnes, Albina, Vic, Ed, Dorothy, Gladys, Joe and Gloria
