Marian Kohlund

Marian Kohlund age 77, of Columbus died Tuesday; June 24, 2003 at her home. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday; June 27, 2003 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. The Rev. Tom Weisbecker will officiate. Vigil services will be held at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Marian L. Kohlund was born September 16, 1925 in Columbus, Nebraska to John T. and Luella (Morgan) Johnson. She received her education from St. Bonaventure High School where she graduated in 1943. Following her graduation she worked at Reece Wooden Shoe Factory. On October 25, 1948 she married Frank B. Kohlund in Columbus, Nebraska. She continued to live in Columbus. Marian worked for 40 years in the Columbus Clinic. She also worked at the First National Bank for 5 years. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, St. Bonaventure Guild, the Medjugorje rosary prayer group, and enjoyed geneology.
