Maria Del Rosario Torres Hernandez

Maria Del Rosario Torres Hernandez, of Mitchell SD, died July 27, 2025,  in Mitchell.

Memorial Service and Visitation is Thursday, July 31st at 7 p.m. at Ministerios Pentecostes Fresca Uncion Church. Farewell Service is August 1st at 10 a.m. at the church and burial at 12 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery. The Church is located at 2475  39th Avenue, Columbus, Nebraska 68601.

Maria was born on April 27, 1963  in Aguascalientes, Mexico to Ramiro  and Maria Del Refugio (Macias) Hernandez.  Maria met Mario Torres when she was 14 years old, spending nearly 50 years of marriage together. Maria loved Mario with all her heart. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids who she loved so much, cooking and baking for her family, and giving motherly advice to her children. Maria served the Lord and loved helping brothers and sisters at Church. Maria also loved going to the park and especially had a love for food and enjoyed feeding others.

Maria is survived by: Husband Mario, Daughters Marcela & Rocio, Grandchildren: Jazziel, Jesus, Brianna, Arlett, Isaac, Angel, Krystal, Israel & Gabriel, Loved Ones: Jose, Refugio, Fermin, Miguel & Dora.

Maria is preceded in death by: Son Mario A. Torres Hernández
