Margot (Engel) Larsen

Margot was born April 20, 1935 to Ervin (Bud) and Maye (Roelle) Engel in Columbus, Nebraska and graduated from Columbus High School in 1952. She then attended nursing school in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated with her LPN degree. She married Darrell L. Parrish Sr in February on 1954.

In 1961 Margot moved to Kansas City, Mo and spent the next 30 years working at the North Kansas City Memorial Hospital in a variety of positions. She always spoke fondly of her years in the delivery room.

She married Glenn Larsen on January 9, 1978.

Most recently Margot was a resident at Wexford Place Assisted Living where she made many new friends and was having a wonderful time as a volunteer and participating in numerous activities including Bible study, sewing, Red Hatters, and current events.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are sugested to the Susan B. Komen Foundation
