Margaret Nowicki

Margaret Nowicki, age 58 of Duncan, Nebraska, died Sunday; August 11, 2002 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday; August 16 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan. The Rev. Dave Korth will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 3-5 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home in Columbus and after 6:00 p.m. at the church in Duncan. A vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. also at the church on Thursday. Visitation will continue Friday 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.

Margaret Nowicki was born November 24, 1943 in Duncan, Nebraska to Albert and Monica (Sokol) Nowicki. She received her early education at St. Stanislaus Grade School. She Graduated from Duncan High in 1961. Margaret served in the United States Army from January 29, 1973 until January 20, 1977. Upon her discharge she attended Wayne State College where she received her Bachelors Degree in Advertising with honors. Margaret worked at Vishay-Dale Electronics as the advertising manager until she became too ill. She was an avid pet lover, especially devoted her dog Keeshi. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality.

Margaret is survived by one brother Carroll Novicki of Columbus and her dog Keeshi.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
