Margaret "Margy" Janssen, age 68, of Platte Center, died Monday, August 12, 2013 at the Columbus Community Hospital.
Margaret "Margy" Janssen was born August 23, 1944 in Columbus, Nebraska to John and Laura (Kula) Gdowski. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1962. Margy married Alan Janssen on August 21, 1971 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Platte Center. Margy was a partner in the family construction company. She was a member of St. Joseph Church. Margy enjoyed polka music and antiques.
Margy is survived by her husband: Alan of Platte Center, daughter: Angela Janssen of Columbus, twin brother: Mark Gdowski of Omaha, sister: Emily Krzycki of Torrance, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Johnny and Myron Gdowski.
