Madeline Arasmith

Madeline A. Arasmith, 97, of Columbus died Thursday, June 15, 2006 at Mory's Haven in Columbus. Funeral services are 10:00 am Monday, June 19 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus with the Rev. Joseph A. Miksch officiating. Visitation is on Sunday from 5-7 pm at McKown Funeral Home with a Vigil service at 7 pm, also at the funeral home. Visitation continues from 8-9:30 am Monday at the funeral home. Interment is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Madeline Amelia Arasmith was born December 3, 1908 in Osceola to Gustav and Theresa (Greisen) Bernt. She received her education at District 25 school by Platte Center. She married Floyd Arasmith on January 18, 1936 in Fremont. Madeline worked various jobs as a waitress. She was a member of St. Isidore Church, Christian Mothers, and the American Legion Auxiliary for over 60 years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, playing cards, and her grandkids.
