Lynn Michelle Wallingford Egger went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2015.
Lynn was born April 4, 1961 in Charles City, Iowa. Lynn spent her early school days in Grand Island, Nebraska and upper grade school and high school days in Columbus, Nebraska. Lynn graduated from Columbus Lakeview High School in 1980. She attended Platte Community College studying in the LPN program on scholarship. She worked in the home health care field for many years and was known as a very compassionate and kind caregiver. Lynn was great with the elderly. She enjoyed watching sports of all types; but especially loved football, basketball and baseball. Lynn fought a courageous battle with cancer for more than three years before leaving to celebrate eternal life with her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
She is survived by: her loving daughter Rachel Lynn Egger, her parents D. (Donann) and Larry Wallingford, her brothers Scott (Shannon) and Don (Tina) Wallingford, niece Maya, nephews Ben, Jacob (Ashley), Caleb, Coby and Rylan and great nieces Aspen and Janie.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Don and Edith Cadwell and paternal grandmother Grace Layman.
