Lyle Henggeler

Lyle C. Henggeler of Columbus died Sunday, November 23, 2025 at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus. Visitation is 3-5 p.m. Monday at St. Isidore Catholic Church. There will be a 5:00 p.m. vigil service. Interment is in the St. Bonaventure Catholic Cemetery.

Lyle was born March 26, 1943 in Columbus to Wilfred “Bud” and Helen (Bender) Henggeler. He received his education at District #2. Lyle lived and worked at Lancaster Manor for 11 years. He also worked at Westbrook Lanes in Columbus for several years. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church. Lyle was an avid Husker Fan and enjoyed supporting his team. He was active with the Special Olympics and participated in bowling where he excelled. Lyle also was active in the league bowling at Westbrook Lanes

Lyle is survived by his siblings: Ronald Henggeler, Kenneth (Renee)Henggeler and Karen Rose Henggeler and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his niece Amanda, sister-in-law Betty, great nephew, Carson.
