Luta A. Oberg

Luta died Sunday, August 30, 2009 at Mory's Haven in Columbus.

Luta A. Oberg was born October 24, 1921 in Hastings, Nebraska to Fred and Margaret (Mouser) Meddles. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1940 and attended college. On October 7th, 1945 she was united in marriage to Orville W. Oberg in Hastings Nebraska. They moved to Columbus Nebraska in 1946. Over the years Luta and Orville together owned/operated the Oberg Hatchery in Columbus, the A&W Root Beer and American Realty. Luta was a life long servant to her God, her family and to her friends. She loved entertaining and playing family games. She died at Mory's Haven in Columbus, were she was also loved by other residents and the staff.

Luta was preceded in death by her husband Orville W. Oberg who passed on April 15th 2005 and 1 sister: Gerri Miller.

She is survived by her children:

Pamela Oberg Oppliger - Colorado Springs, Colorado
Randy Oberg - Waverly, Nebraska
Robin Oberg - Eugene, Oregon
13 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren
