Louise Elaine Moser

Louise Elaine Moser of Columbus died Saturday, August 9, 2025 at her home.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at McKown Funeral Home from 8:30 am until 10:30 am.  There will be a Celebration of her life at 10:30 am at McKown Funeral Home with burial to follow in Columbus Cemetery.

Louise was born March 23, 1941, at her family homestead by Ames, NE to Louis and Evelyn (Claussen) Mortensen.  She attended country schools, North Bend School, and Fremont High School. Louise married Desley Moser on April 19, 1963, in Council Bluffs. They moved to Columbus in 1976 where they opened an upholstery shop. She also worked at New World Inn and Sunmart.

Louise enjoyed scratch tickets, trips to Tooley's lunch counter, her grandchildren, then some more scratch tickets, and monitoring the neighborhood.
