Louise Konwinski died Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the Columbus Community Hospital.
Louise Rose Konwinski was born July 17, 1919 on the family farm outside of Duncan, Nebraska to Joseph and Mary Ann (Drozd) Ziemba. She was a twin sister to Louis Ziemba. Louise married John Frank Sock on February 11, 1942 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan. He died on September 14, 1975. She later married Aloysius "Al" Joseph Konwinski on Mary 28, 1979 at St. Gerald's Catholic Church in Omaha, Nebraska. The couple lived in Omaha before moving to Columbus. Al passed away on July 31, 1992. Louise was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening and playing cards. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church.
