Lorrena June Weverka, 79, of Columbus, Nebraska died Monday, May 21, 2018 at Nebraska Heart Hospital, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Lorrena was born June 9, 1938 in Elwood, NE to Fred C. and Elsie (Roepke) Gydesen. She was raised in Scotia and attended Scotia County Schools. On May 27, 1956 she married Elmer L Weverka in Burwell. Lorrena worked for Becton-Dickinson for more than 32 years. She enjoyed her grandkids, reading, bird watching, and her gardens.
