Lorraine Gallo, age 86, of Columbus died, Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Columbus Community Hospital.
Lorraine A. Gallo was born August 21, 1926 in Platte County, Nebraska to Herman and Cecelia (Hamling) Schmid. She graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in 1944. Lorraine married Rudolph Gallo on February 5, 1952 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. She worked at Northwestern Bell for 13 years and Dale Electronics for 20 years until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and St. Bonaventure Guild. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and spending time with her family.
Lorraine is survived by:
Daughter: Kate (Mel) Paprocki of Columbus
Granddaughters: Ashley (fiance-Derek Korth) and Jamie (Jesse) Kohl
Great grandchildren: Brylee, Landyn and Carsyn Kohl
Sister: Rita (Ray) Berger of Columbus
Brother: Robert (Joyce) Schmid of Columbus
Sister-in-law: Shirley Schmid of Columbus
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 3 brothers: Donald, Gerald, Art
