Loretta was born September 20, 1932 in Platte County, Nebraska. She passed away June 22, 2011 with cancer in Tucson, Arizona. She is survived by sons: Boyd (Tek) Gertsch, Craig (Carol) Gertsch, and Dale Gertsch; daughter Melva (Tom) Lundy, five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; sisters Pauline Roberts, Elsie Koontz, and Katheryn Peterson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvyn K. Gertsch; parents, John Conrad and Elizabeth Filbert.
