Loretta Ciecior

Loretta Ciecior of Columbus died Friday, September 27, 2024, at Meridian Garden in Columbus.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 4, 2024, at St. Isidore Catholic Church. There will be a 4:30 C.D.A. Rosary Thursday.  Visitation is Thursday 5-7 p.m., followed by a 7:00 p.m. vigil service all at the church. Visitation will continue 9:30 a.m. Friday morning until service time. Interment will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Loretta was born June 11, 1932, to John and Augusta (Litz) Nepper in Clarkson, Nebraska. She graduated from Schuyler High School. On September 9, 1952, Loretta was united in marriage to Norbert Ciecior at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Schuyler, NE. Loretta worked at Rambour Realty followed by 33 years of service at Citizens Bank / United Nebraska Bank. She was a Charter Member of St. Isidore's Parish, participated in the Christian Mothers, and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America #988, holding offices of treasurer and financial secretary. She volunteered with the school's kindergarten "Grandmother's" program. Through her years, Loretta was involved with counting Sunday church collections, Extension Club, St. Isidore Quilting Ladies, & Meals on Wheels. She also volunteered at Mory's Haven and the Columbus Hospital gift shop. She enjoyed spending time with her children and their families.

Great grandchildren – Henry, Amelia, Charlie, Luke, Ella, Lora, Natalie, Jameson, Alyssa, and Finn
