Lois Wiser

Lois A. "Tate" Wiser, age 78, of Columbus, Nebraska passed away Monday, September 4, 2006 at Bryan LGH East in Lincoln, Nebraska. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 7, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus with Reverend Douglas Zurek officiating. Burial is in the Roselawn Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation is 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation continues Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. with a 10:15 a.m. Family Prayer Service at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Lois A. Wiser was born May 14, 1928 in Osceola, Nebraska to Orra and Violet (Lindblade) Garretson. She attended rural Polk County Schools. Lois married Arthur Wiser, Jr. on September 8,1948 in Kearney, Nebraska. She lived in Clarks and Osceola before moving to a farm northwest of Columbus in 1971. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for her husband. She enjoyed polkas, playing cards, gardening, baking pies, phone friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
