Lois J. Twohig died Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Lois J. Twohig was born June 1, 1926 in Madison, Nebraska to Herman and Bessie (Wolfgram) Grothe. She graduated from Madison High School and received her RN from Clarkson School of Nursing in Omaha. Lois worked at Clarkson Hospital, several nursing homes in Nebraska and spent the last 15 years of her career with AARP in Stanton. In 2010 she moved to Columbus. Lois enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by:

Daughter: Joan Baker of Kingston, OK
Daughter: Mary Thomas of Lincoln, NE
Brother: Bryan Grothe of Battle Creek, IA
