Lisa Bondene (Westring)Butler, born September 28, 1958 to Wayne and Bondene (Raitt) Westring, passed on to eternal peace on October 9, 2017 in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Lisa was preceded in death by her beloved husband James T. Butler and both parents. She is survived by her brother Ed Westring and sister, Liz (Chris) Westring Pike, nephews Wayne (Jennifer) Westring III, Andrew (Nicole) Pike, and niece Lauren (Joe) Sandbulte, great nephews Wayne IV, Louie and Vinnie Westring, many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Lisa grew ups in Westbury, New York and worked for many years in the hospitality industry. She was an avid bowler, her mother's best friend and co-spectator at high school sporting events. Her greatest gifts were her kindness and generosity, her caring for others and her devotion to family. She was known for her fabulous cooking skills and everyone was welcome at her table.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 11th at 11:00 a.m. at the Rice Funeral Home Chapel, 726 Willard Avenue in Genoa, Nebraska with inurnment at Valley View Cemetery immediately following. Friends and family are invited to join us after the services for lunch at the Genoa Pawnee Senior Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Lisa's name to Hospice at Health First, 1131 West Haven Avenue, Suite 102, West Melbourne, FL 32904.
