Linda Bogus

Linda Bogus of Columbus died Sunday August 25, 2013 at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln as a result of cancer first diagnosed in 2006.

Linda M. Bogus was born February 17, 1952 in Cedar Rapids, NE to Victor and Selma (Liss) Jarosz. She grew up in Columbus where she attended St. Anthony Grade School and graduated from Scotus Central Catholic High School in 1970. Linda attended business college in Omaha where she worked for UNMC and Mutual of Omaha. Linda was united in marriage to Thomas Bogus on May 18, 1973 at St. Anthony Church in Columbus. They made their home in Columbus where Linda worked in Behlens Office, Hinky Dinky/Russ's, and for the Optometric Center before retiring due to her failing health. Linda enjoyed cooking, collecting antique glassware, and most importantly spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church.

Kelsey's Children: Madi, Tony, Joey, and Colton
Kimberly's Daughter: Gabby
Samantha's Daughter: Delaney
Brother: Ty (Sharon) Jarosz of Duncan, NE

She is preceded in death by:

Sister: Mary Jarosz
