Lillie &Quot;Lil&Quot; Whitlow

Lillie "Lil" Whitlow, 93, of Columbus, died Sunday June 4, 2006 at Southview Manor in Cozad. Funeral Services are 10:30 am Friday, June 9 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus. Visitation is on Thursday from 4-7 pm at McKown Funeral Home and continues Friday morning from 9:30 am until service time at the church. There will be a family prayer service at 10:15 am Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Lunch will follow the services at the church with interment to follow at approximately 12:30 pm at Valley View Cemetery in Genoa. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church, KTLX Radio Station, the American Cancer Society, or donor's choice.

Lillie "Lil" Whitlow was born June 5, 1912 on the family farm North West of Monroe in Platte County to John W. and Anna (Altmann) Davis. She attended Okay School District #32 in Platte County. The Davis family moved from the farm to Genoa in 1930. On March 1, 1932 Lil married Lloyd Whitlow. They lived at Genoa a short time before moving to Columbus. Lloyd passed away May 26, 1977. Lil was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was Baptized and confirmed.

Lil is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
