Lillian Vera Sutko Kuhn, age 90, formerly of Clarks and Silver Creek, Nebraska died Saturday April 17, 2004 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Funeral Services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peters Catholic Church in Clarks with the Reverend Don Cleary officiating. Burial will be in the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Silver Creek. Visitation is after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church. A Vigil will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. also at the church. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning 9:00 a.m. -10:00 a.m. at the church.
Lillian was born August 23, 1913 in Nance County to Phillip and Anna (Boro) Zegar. She grew up in Nance and Merrick County. She married Adolph Sutko on April 25, 1932 at Ss. Peter & Paul Church - Krakow. The couple farmed in Nance and Merrick Counties. Adolph died January 24, 1962. She married Lawrence Kuhn in November of 1964 at St. Lawrence Church in Silver Creek. They lived in the Clarks area until his death in 1991. Following his death Lillian lived in Clarks and the Merrick Manor in Central City until 2000 when she moved to Parsons on Eagle Run in Omaha. She was a member of St. Peters Church in Clarks and the Altar Society.
