Lillian Dush

September 5, 1918 — February 28, 2016

Lillian Dush, 97, went to her heavenly home on February 28, 2016 to be with her husband, son, family members and friends who preceded her.

Lillian was born in Sioux City, IA on September 5, 1918 to Stanley, Sr. and Mary (Markiewiec) Paczosa. She grew up on a farm outside of Duncan. She graduated from the 8th grade at St. Stanislaus Grade School.

On October 20, 1941, Lillian was united in marriage to Ben Dush at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan. They lived in Duncan where she was the accountant for Farmers Coop. She was an excellent craftswoman who sewed and made a lot of quilts and baptismal gowns that were donated to the church and babies. She was a member of the parish council, APC, Liturgy committee, St. Anns Sodality, Golden Age Club, EME and a 52 years member of the choir for the church. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters, the Duncan Lions Club, the Duncan Fire Auxiliary and a 4-H leader. She donated time helping others and the church, in 1978 her family was awarded the Knights of Columbus Catholic Family of the Year. She loved to be at family gatherings for the holidays, and vacations, especially airplane trips with Fr. Joe.

Great Grandchildren: Tom (Jamie) Ksiazek, Mike Ksiazek; Catilyn, Noah, and Ben Anderson; Emily, Lauren, and Max Udell; D.J., Melany, and Sally Donoghue; Neleigh, Eric and Justin Slusarski; Elly Henry and Noah Gross

Sister Rose (Bud) Kuta
Sisters-in-law Elaine Paczosa and Maryann Paczosa
