Lillian A Brdicko, age 89, of Fremont, formerly of Columbus died Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in Fremont.
Lillian A. Brdicko was born October 4, 1921 in Clarkson, Nebraska to Joe W. and Martha (Janacek) Konicek. She graduated from Clarkson High School in 1940. Lillian worked at Omar Bakery in Omaha from 1940 to 1943. She was married to Evon "Shiny" Brdicko on August 9, 1943 in Clarkson, Nebraska. The couple moved to Columbus in 1945 following his discharge from the Army. Lillian worked with her husband in their family business, Platte Valley Egg and Poultry. She was a member of the Federated Church, the American Legion Auxilliary, and Highland Park P.T.A. for 13 years. Lillian was a past member of the Order of St. Andrew. She was active in the Clothes Closet at Federated Church for many years. Memorial may be directed to the family's choice.
